The Prayer of Blessing – Part 6

NUMBERS 6:24–26
The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you; the LORD lift His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Shine – light divided from the darkness.
In Hebraic thought – light equates to order and darkness to chaos.

GENESIS 1:1–4

In the beginning [God] created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, darkness [chaos] was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of [God] was moving over the surface of the water. [God] said, “Let there be light [order],” and there was light [order]. [God] saw that the light [order] was good, and [God] separated the light [order] from the darkness [chaos].
