Colossians 1:9
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Matthew 7: 21
21 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
We have what we call God’s General Will. We also have what we call God’s Will for Individuals. God will always tell His people His will before commanding them to act in faith.
