We Need His Grace And Strength
Grace – Gk – charis-(khar’-ece) – Is the merciful loving kindness, favour of God, by which He applies His Holy influence on people, turns them to His Son, keeps, strengthens, increases them in the Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian character lifestyle.
Grace – Heb. chen (khane) –root word chanan (khanan) – being gracious, kind, compassionate to someone without wanting anything in return. Freely given at no cost, nothing for nothing, without working for it. (unmerited favour)
Grace/Favor is the strength and power of God that enables us to do what He tells us.
Philippians 4:13-NKJV
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
AMP – … I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
