Knowing The Holy Spirit
John 14:16-17-NKJV
16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may
abide with you forever—
17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him
nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
1Samuel 16:13
Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers;
and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.
Romans 8:9-10-Wuest
But, as for you, you are not in the sphere of the sinful nature but in the sphere of
the Spirit, provided that the Spirit of God is in residence in you. But, assuming that
a person does not have Christ’s Spirit, this one does not belong to Him. But
assuming that Christ is in you, on the one hand the body is dead on account of sin,
but on the other hand the spirit is alive on account of righteousness.
