Learning To Be Led By God
Isaiah 42:16-NIV
16 I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I
will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough
places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.
1. LEARN TO ASK GOD TO SHOW YOU, HIS PLANS.
Habakkuk 2:3-TLB
3 But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the
time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair,
for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue
a single day!
God told Abraham when to leave home.
Genesis 12:1-NLT – The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your
relatives, and your father’ family, and go to the land that I will show you.
He told Jacob when to go back home.
Genesis 31:3-NLT – Then the LORD said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your
father and grandfather and to your relatives there, and I will be with you.”
He even told Elijah where to find food in the middle of a famine.
I Kings 17:3-4-NLT
3 “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook, near where it enters the Jordan River.
4 Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded
them to bring you food.”
