spur – moving toward someone… to move them forward.

“consider” – means paying intense attention as to how we go about …spurring someone forward.

Aramaic says, “Let us look on one another with the excitement of love.”

And let us keep paying attention to one another, in order to spur each other on to love and
good deeds, not neglecting our own congregational meetings, as some have made a practice of doing,
but, rather, encouraging each other. And let us do this all the more as you see the Day Approaching.

LEB – not abandoning our meeting together, as is the habit of some…abandon. – Greek
implies a person who is extremely discouraged.

Passion-This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have
formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together
even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that
day dawning.
