Seeing Every Situation From God’s Viewpoint
2Corinthians 4:17-18-CJB
For our light and transient troubles are achieving for us an everlasting glory whose weight is beyond description.
18 We concentrate not on what is seen but on what is not seen, since things seen are temporary, but things not seen are eternal.
NLT-17-18 … For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
Passion – … because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.
• The Hebrew word for “glory” “kavod,” has the root meaning,… “kaved”…“weighty” “To be heavy.”
