2Corinthians 4:17-18-CJB

For our light and transient troubles are achieving for us an everlasting glory whose weight is beyond description. 18 We concentrate not on what is seen but on what is not seen, since things seen are temporary, but things not seen are eternal.

Passion – 17 We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, 18 because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.

• The Hebrew word for “glory” “kavod,” has the root meaning,… “kaved”… “weighty” “To be heavy.”

Romans 8:17-18-AMP.

… And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. 18 [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!

KJV-Verse 18…While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal…

Psalm 89:17-GW… because you are the glory of their strength. By your favor you give us victory.
